Speaking about 3.2…

Thursday, August 6, 2009 7:26
3.1 has not been released yet, but we are allowed to speak about 3.2!

So, in 3.2, we’re planning to introduce graphic themes, so that the ‘old’ interface could be back.

Is that not a really good news?

If you want some other improvements, just tell us!

You can leave a response, or trackback from your own site.

    bonjour,

thanks again for puzzlemaniak and for the constant improvement.

4 old requests that will be nice to include in 3.2 :

1/ to be able to do the day’s challenge from the main menu (and to come back to main menu after competing)

2/ after doing day’s challenge, to add a button : ok & see scores.

3/ on individual scores, the bar graf should saw the number of points made this day (not the rank) : the rank can still appear on or bellow the bar.

4/ to be able to add country (and flag) to name : it give some character to the score list

hope you will be able to include some of them !

It would be nice to be able to view the daily challenge scores for every game all in same place (unless there is a way to do this already that I’ve missed) Also, I guess now the player challenges have been reset is their no way to bring them back? I was quite enjoying working my way through them

    Hi Barry,

Nice to see that you’re not a bot :)

Displaying daily challenge scores for all games in one page could be boring to read, no?

I’m thinking of deleting old “players challenges” to avoid misunderstanding for new players,
but I need you your agreement, you the overall #1 !!!

New “players challenges” are not all compatible with “old ones”
because of some mistakes I made (I know, I’m not really good on this point)

I’m not a ‘bot’, just a guy with too much spare time on his hands.
The only reason I suggested putting all the daily challenge scores in one place is that I like to play a few of them and each time i go to look at the scores for one of them it shuts the application and switches to safari, I then have to shut that and go back to the application to play another, just all gets a bit time consuming.

To see Players Challenges scores on PM…. New games… Facebook profile updating (I really liked that)… Chat (I know that’s impossible, but ‘d like that…. Maybe put again old scores for Daily Challenge (when no.1 gets 30 pts and 30th gets 1pt, but only for daily challenge….

Chat is not impossible, but I’m sure nobody will use it.

These guys are hard at work. It’s nice to see how they listen to users’ input. Don’t you wish Microsoft was that responsive? A great app that never disappoints. Congrats!

When you say you can’t change the way the map program works, does that include some sort of indicator so you know which of the items were part of the initial puzzle? i.e. that can’t be changed)?

This is absolutely one of the best values out there — lots of fun (although I can’t figure out black box, either).

I would really like the following bug to be corrected : When I try to erase my scores and stats (in the option menu), nothing actually happens, nothing is deleted. Thanks for an otherwise exquisite games collection

I’d like to see a few little things if possible please
    1) Option to see an amalgamated daily challenge ranking which takes into account all scores on all daily games to give an overall ranking. 2) I think that ‘anonymous’ scores shouldn’t be allowed – Someone must be cheating especially on Unequal! ‘Anonymous’ keeps getting unbelievable sub 1 minute times on level 6 (Apologies if there is actually some shy genius out there but come on, show yourself & brag about it!!) 3) Pegsmanik challenges are not really very random, just seem to be the same 3 patterns just cycling in a random way? Is this intentional?
Other than this, an amazing app!!

    1. good idea => I’ll have a look at that on September
    2. the problem is not “anonymous” player (that’s just a nickname) but cheaters…
Please give me dates when some players have cheated, I’ll ban them
    3. yes, that’s something I’ve to work on

There’s a 6-star Unequal score that’s been on the Players Challenges for a few weeks now. “AaeAec” supposedly finished it in 18 seconds.

Can’t find this entry. Are you sure of the name of the player?

When you’re making Graphic Themes, you should add the possibility to use your own picture library for background images. That’d be cool.

Other than that, the idea sounds awesome as it is. It’ll be nice to be able to choose for yourself what theme to use. This game is definitely one of the most price worthy out there.

Using our own background could raise a lot of problems too.
For now, it’s not planned to integrate that.
    Sorry for you.
But, maybe in version 5.8 :)

I’d like to see random challenges on pegsmaniak too. There are a few of us who seem to be competing with each other and it would be MUCH more meaningful if we weren’t just seeing the same few puzzles.

Great app … I’m looking forward to the graphic themes. In particular, I would VERY much like to be able to select my own colors for colored elements (like in Mastermind … both the playing pegs and the scoring pegs .. at the moment I need magnification to be able to distinguish the colors of the scoring pegs and it makes that inconvenient to play — I suspect that this may already be fixed in 3.1 … just waiting on Apple to post it!)

Thanks for all your work on this.

So, I think I should fix this pegsmaniak daily challenge bug…
    Will be done in september.

For pegs, let’s wait for version 3.1 (and also for 3.2 with themes) to see if there is other needs
