Your new update (even after the keyboard fix) doesn’t work very well. It used to be that to leave a notation, you had to press and hold. And to fill in the square you pressed it quickly. However, with this update, the choice that comes up is completely random, with no way of controlling it.
Please fix this – I do live this app and really don’t want to replace it with a new sudoku app.

Looking forward tk the update. I like the new green version of sudokumaniak but I do miss the old orange icon which was really eyecatching. Every morning I go for my morning fix and find my finger hovering around trying to find the icon to open it.
Also, since I updated a couple of days ago, I’m struggling badly with the input methods. I keep putting figures in instead of pencil marks and can’t seem to figure out how to differentiate between inputting numbers and pencils.
My second favourite sudoku app is Enjoy Sudoku / enjoy sudoku daily as they have a fabulous tutorial section. Sudokumaniak could do with something similar?
Also, when inputting pencil marks, if there was a way to highlight a number of squares and put the same pencilmark in all those squares, it would save the laborious method of doing them individually which combined with the new input bug means I’m making lots of mistakes in my pencils.
Last suggestion, if you haven’t yet died of boredom at my post
, is for there to be 7 levels of difficulty for the web challenge, for each day of the week. That way Monday morning I’d have a quick game I only need five minutes for, and Sunday I can take my time and not be interrupted by work calls etc during the 30 minute + harder games.
Anyway, still a great game and thankyou sudokumaniak for your continued input and attention. It’s nice that you are still enthusiastic and willing to listen and continue to tweak and improve the app for us.

I’ve just submitted an update (version 3.2.2) with a visual indicator to select between entering a number or a clue. Please be patient to get it.
SJ: good ideas, but I won’t implement them, sorry for that.

Hi, I have one good advice for you:
In last few weeks me and my friend are playing brain games in bus and competing in scores, but he doesn’t have iPhone so we mostly play Who has the biggest brain game because he can play it on Facebook. So I thought that maybe PuzzleManiak for PC could be good idea?

Your friend should buy an iPod Touch to play against you
PuzzleManiak on PC/Mac is not a bad idea at all, but a lot of work for me, and I’m lazy…

I just got one good idea, if you ever wanna make PM for PC, do game for Facebook, only Lite version, like WHTBB…
