I was planning on holding off on buying an iPad until v2 – when ever that is, but this could tempt me earlier
. Is it essentially the iPhone game but with higher resolution graphics or are you taking advantage of the extra screen space to allow for larger versions of puzzles than the iPhone version allows?

There are larger versions of some puzzles, for sure.
I’m gonna list them in another post.
Graphics have higher resolutions.
And ‘daily challenges’ are iPad specific too.
‘Players challenges’ have been removed for now.

Something is wrong. I can no longer use this program on my ipad. Shortly after installing it i start having problems with bridges. Some of the circles won’t connect. Not only that but swiping between two dots can result in 2 other dots connecting! These issues are just the start of the problems though. The whole ipad starts acting goofy, like it is possessed. Starts doing things all by itself. Tried re-installing app but no change. Restore ipad to original is only help. Problem comes back again if load and play software again. SENT ipad in to mac – no problem found. Been using ipad for a couple of days without loading puzzle maniak and everything has been fine.
The only conclusion is the app is polluting my ipad.

Hi Steve,
Thanks for your feedback.
I don’t really understand what’s happening on your iPad with Puzzlemaniak,
because it works fine on mine.
I had a look at the code, and found an issue with scores in bridges,
maybe you have a side effect of this bug.
So, I’ve submitted a new version to Apple, please wait for the update.
Regards,
Alx

Puzzlemaniak hd regularly crashes on iPad 4.2.1 when selecting web-accessing functions after being suspended. I suspect that saved state (or “multitasking” iOS-style) is causing problems.
I’ve also noticed a distinct drop in redraw performance in Untangle after updating from iOS 3.2.

Is that issue fixed now?

I recently downloaded puzzlemaniak for my iPad, but I’m unable to submit my scores for the daily web challenges. I just keep getting “network error. Sending score failed”. Does it have to be connected to 3G to work? I’m connected to wi-fi, and I can successfully view the scores. But can’t submit.
Thanks

Never mind… Seems to be working today. Who knows what the problem was yesterday. Thanks!
