Who we are

The app “Jigsaw Puzzles - Video Edition” (the “App”) is published by AR Entertainment (Alexandre Minard). For any question about this policy, contact us at contact@ar-entertainment.net.

Information we do not collect

The App does not ask you to create an account and does not collect any personal information: no name, e-mail address, phone number, postal address, location, contacts, photos or advertising identifier.

The App contains no advertising and no analytics or tracking tools, and it does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Earlier versions of the App included the Flurry Analytics service. It has been removed from the App, and the Flurry service itself has been discontinued by its provider.

Your videos and created puzzles

If you choose to create your own puzzles, the App asks for permission to access your photo library so that you can pick a video. The selected video is processed entirely on your device. Your videos and created puzzles are never uploaded to our servers or shared with anyone.

If you share a created puzzle by e-mail, the App simply opens your own mail app with the puzzle attached. The message is sent by you, through your e-mail provider; we do not receive it.

Weekly puzzle challenge

When you finish the weekly puzzle, the App sends to our server the week number, the difficulty level and your completion time, so that it can show the world best time and your ranking. This result is stored anonymously: it contains no name, account or device identifier and cannot be linked to you.

To display your ranking, the App also sends your own best times for the current week. These values are only used to compute the ranking and are not stored.

Puzzle catalog and downloads

To show the list of puzzle packs and to download their videos, the App connects to our server. Like any website, our hosting provider may automatically record standard technical information in its server logs (such as the IP address and the time of the request) for security and operational purposes. We do not use this information to identify you, to build a profile or for marketing.

Purchases and subscriptions

In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment details. The App only receives from Apple the information needed to unlock the content you purchased. Apple’s handling of your data is described in Apple’s Privacy Policy.

The App may also check the public App Store listing to let you know when a new version is available. This check does not send any personal information.

Data stored on your device

Your game progress, statistics, best times, settings and created puzzles are stored locally on your device only. They are deleted when you delete the App.

Children

The App is suitable for all ages. Because it does not collect personal information, it does not knowingly collect any personal information from children.

Your rights

Since we do not hold any personal information that can be linked to you, there is no personal data for us to access, correct or delete. For any question or request about your privacy, contact us at contact@ar-entertainment.net.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy, for example when we add new features. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated. If a change significantly affects the way your information is handled, we will inform you in the App or on this page.
