Jigsaw Puzzles

In short

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use govern your use of the app “Jigsaw Puzzles - Video Edition” (the “App”), published by AR Entertainment (Alexandre Minard) (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

These Terms apply in addition to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Where they differ, the provisions that best protect you as a consumer prevail.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment, in accordance with the App Store Terms of Service.

You may not copy, resell, rent or redistribute the App or its content, extract the puzzle videos for another use, or attempt to reverse engineer or bypass the App’s purchase system.

3. Free content, puzzle packs and subscriptions

Some puzzles, including the weekly puzzle, are free. Other puzzles are grouped in packs that can be unlocked in two ways:

Prices are shown in the App before you confirm a purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. A subscription renews automatically for the same duration and price unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple Account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the period already paid.

Purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be made to Apple, according to Apple’s policies (reportaproblem.apple.com).

4. Puzzles you create

The App lets you turn videos from your library into puzzles. You may only use videos that you own or that you have the right to use. Your videos and created puzzles stay on your device, as explained in our Privacy Policy.

If you share a created puzzle by e-mail, you are responsible for the content you share and must respect the rights of others.

5. Weekly puzzle challenge

The weekly challenge shows the world best time and your anonymous ranking for each difficulty level. Please play fair: any attempt to send false results or to manipulate the rankings is not allowed, and we may remove such results. The challenge, its rankings and the puzzles offered may change or be discontinued.

6. Puzzle content

The puzzle videos included in the App come from royalty-free sources or are used with permission. All rights in these videos remain with their respective owners. The App, its design, graphics, music and software are owned by AR Entertainment and protected by intellectual property laws.

7. Availability and changes

We regularly improve the App and may add, change or remove features and puzzle packs. An internet connection is needed to download puzzle packs and to take part in the weekly challenge. We do our best to keep the App and our servers available, but we cannot guarantee that they will always be available or free of errors.

8. Liability

The App is provided for entertainment purposes. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages resulting from the use of, or the inability to use, the App. Nothing in these Terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the laws of your country of residence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms, for example when we add new features. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last updated. Significant changes will be announced in the App or on this page. By continuing to use the App after an update, you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by French law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence. For any question about these Terms or the App, contact us at contact@ar-entertainment.net.
